OfQuack was founded in 2009 after our founder, Lady Anatidae Buckfast (pictured, right) had a quiet word with a wealthy and influential benefactor over the inadequacy of regulation of Supplementary, Complementary and Alternative Medicine (SCAM).
She was incensed by the idea that her beloved modalities of homeopathy, chiropractic, reiki, and herbalism should have to pass the same stringent requirements as "ordinary" medicines. These have been used for hundreds of years by millions of people. There was simply no way that so many people could have been wrong, so there was no need for the testing and checking that poisonous chemicals have to go through.
After all, everything natural is perfectly benign and helpful to the human body.
